Creation – Foundation in the Word

Creation – Foundation in the Word

God made the heaven, the earth and the sea in six days and everything in it.

God said it Himself and wrote it with His finger in stone, that He made everything in six days.

Exo 20:11   For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Exo 31:17   It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.

Exo 31:18 And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God

The six days were 24 hour days as we now know it.

Gen 1:14 – 19

And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.
And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

Gen 1:31- 2:1  And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day

Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.

God is very much convinced that He made everything in six days.

Everything was made by Jesus (from nothing):

Joh 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

Rom 4:17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.

Heb 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

Rom 11:36  For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.

Efes 3:9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ

Kol 1:16   For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

Created through the power and by the arm of God:

Jer 27:5   I have made the earth, the man and the beast that are upon the ground, by my great power and by my outstretched arm, and have given it unto whom it seemed meet unto me.

Jer 10:12 He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion.

Jer 32:17   Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:

Created by the Spirit of God.

Job 33:4  The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life. .

Psalm 33:6   By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.

Creation is placed in the beginning:

Gen 1:1-2   In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

Gen 1:9 – 10 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.  And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.

Petrus agrees with Genesis 1 than man is on earth since creation and the earth arose from water.

2Pe 3:4 – 5 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:

The foundation of the earth laid in the beginning:

Heb 1:10   And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:

Psalm 104:5 Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever.

Jesus always leaves the impression that humans were part of creation from the beginning. There is no evidence in any of His teachings that the earth was ever without humans.

Mat 13:35   That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.

Mat 25:34   Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

Mar 10:6   But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female

Mar 13:19   For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.

Luk 11:50   That the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation;

The devil could not have been a murderer from the beginning if there were no humans from the beginning.

Joh 8:44   Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

The devil sinned from the beginning.

1 Joh 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

Moses also acknowledged that humans were on the earth from the beginning of days. He is saying the days of the past started with God creating humans on the earth.

Deut 4:32   For ask now of the days that are past, which were before thee, since the day that God created man upon the earth, and ask from the one side of heaven unto the other, whether there hath been any such thing as this great thing is, or hath been heard like it?

God is declaring thing from the beginning of times, if there were no humans who did He declare it to??

Jes 46:9-10  Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,
Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

Job’s friend Zophar also believes humans to be on earth from the beginning:

Job 20:4 Knowest thou not this of old, since man was placed upon earth

The flood of Noah was global / world wide.

The importance of the flood is underlying to the understanding of the so called gap theory( that there is million / billions of years between Gen 1:1 and Gen 1:2). Everybody agree that a flood of the magnitude described in Genesis 7 & 8, would have destroyed what is now known as the fossil record of billions of years ago. All the alleged evidence of life of millions of years on the earth would not have been there. Adherents of the gap theory and theistic evolution proponents of the day age concept ( according to them God created over billions of years using evolution and one day in Genesis is actually million / billions of years in real life) cannot acknowledge Noah’s flood to be world wide, because to do that will undermine their creation view, and therefore they insists that it was only a local flood.

Acknowledging that Noah’s flood was world wide would mean that they must also acknowledge that fossils found today are from Noah’s flood and there is no evidence of billions of years evolution or the so called Lucifer flood which they claim is the source of the waters in Gen 1:2. According to them there was a great flood between Gen1 :1 and Gen 1:2 caused by the fall of Satan.

But we already saw everything was made in six days, also the heavenly host. Job 38:7 all the morning stars sang together and all the sons of God shouted for joy when the foundation of the earth were fastened. This refers to day 3 of creation when the waters under the heaven were gathered together in one place and dry land appeared.  Psalm 24 : For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods. This is an obvious reference to Genesis 1 :9 when God said said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear. That laying the foundations of the earth co-insides with the waters being gathered is further confirmed in Prov 8:29  When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth:

Psalm 136: 6 To him that stretched out the earth above the waters: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Heb 1:10  And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:

The Word of God is very clear, the flood was world wid.

Gen 6:17   And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die.

Gen 7:4   For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth.

Gen 7:19 – 20   And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that were under the whole heaven, were covered. Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered.

Gen 7:23   And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark

The mountains of Ararat were under water..

Gen 8:3 – 5 And the waters returned from off the earth continually: and after the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters were abated.  And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat. And the waters decreased continually until the tenth month: in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, were the tops of the mountains seen.

Psa 104:6 – 9 Thou coveredst it with the deep as with a garment: the waters stood above the mountains.
At thy rebuke they fled; at the voice of thy thunder they hasted away.
They go up by the mountains; they go down by the valleys unto the place which thou hast founded for them.
Thou hast set a bound that they may not pass over; that they turn not again to cover the earth.

God established a covenant that it will never happens again. If it was only a local flood then God obviously did not keep His covenant as we have seen many local floods in the world.

Gen 9:11  And I will establish my covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth.

Gen 9:15   And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.

Isa 54:9  For this is as the waters of Noah unto me: for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee.

The words world and earth are used as synonyms for each other in the Bible. Therefor we know that the death that entered the world ( the earth), entered through Adam shortly after the creation of the earth.

Job 38:4 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding

Heb 4:3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world

Heb 9:26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

Psa 102:25  (102:26) Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands.

Psalm 104:5 Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever.

Heb 1:10  And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:

1 Joh 3: 8   He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

Rom 5:12  Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

1 Kor 15:22   For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

Nothing with the breath of life died before fall of Adam. Both mean and animal had a plant based diet. Fishes do not have the breath of life.

Gen 7:22  All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died. (With the Noah flood)

Gen 2:7  And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Gen 1:29  And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

Gen 1:30  And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.

The whole of creation suffers as a result of the fall, not only humans because cursed the earth.

People that do not believe God created in six 24 hour days, also reject the clear teaching from the Bible that physical death entered the earth through sin. They say the death as a result of sin was only the spiritual death of man kind. However, the Bible teaches that the whole of creation was effected by the sin of Adam.

Gen 3:17  And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;

Rom 8:18 – 23 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,
Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now
And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

The whole of creation is longing for the restoration of what once was. Isaiah describes what will be with the return of the Messiah. When the relationship between man and animal will be fully restored.

Isa 11 : 6 – 8 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them
And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice’ den.

Isa 65:25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent’s meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.

It is clear it is the whole of creation waiting to be freed, not only humans. Man will also live longer again, a man of 100 years will be seen as a child.

Isa 65:20 There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.

At the end of the 1000 years of peace and harmony , with the great white throne judgement, death will be cast into the lake of fire.

Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

 The universe has en end.

Deut 4:32  For ask now of the days that are past, which were before thee, since the day that God created man upon the earth, and ask from the one side of heaven unto the other, whether there hath been any such thing as this great thing is, or hath been heard like it?

Deut 13: 7  Namely, of the gods of the people which are round about you, nigh unto thee, or far off from thee, from the one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth

Deut 30:4  If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee:

Neh 1:9 But if ye turn unto me, and keep my commandments, and do them; though there were of you cast out unto the uttermost part of the heaven, yet will I gather them from thence, and will bring them unto the place that I have chosen to set my name there.

Psa 19: 6 His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.

Jesus was definitely a young earth creationist He believed Genesis to be literally true.

Joh 5:46  For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me. .
